SunButter® Chocolate Chip Ice Cream
Ingredients
- 2 large eggs
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/3 cup SunButter®
- 1/2 cup sunflower kernel
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
Place sunflower kernel and chocolate chips in freezer. Whisk eggs in a large mixing bowl until they are light and fluffy. Add the sugar, a little at a time, until fully blended. Add the cream and milk; whisk until well blended. Place about 1 cup of the ice cream mixture into a small bowl and whisk in SunButter® until completely blended, no chunks! Blend SunButter® mixture into the remaining ice cream mixture. Add to ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer’s directions. When the ice cream starts to stiffen, add sunflower kernel and chocolate chips. Finish freezing according to directions
