MASHED CAULIFLOWER AND PARSNIPS

 

2 heads cauliflower

½ lb parsnips

4 TBS Butter (unsalted) melted

1 whole nutmeg

Salt

White Pepper

 

Boil cauliflower and parsnips until tender

Drain

Mash with potato masher or push through a potato ricer

Add melted butter

Grate ¼-1/3 of the nutmeg into the mash

Add salt and white pepper to taste
